James launched his first online shop in 1999 and his instinctive, inquisitive mind soon spotted the significant commercial potential of online retail. This led to swift success in the form of BeCheeky.com - now the UK's second largest branded lingerie and swimwear
e-tailer - which he launched in 2004.

etailWorks also benefits from James' experience gained over 20 years of owning and running successful consumer-facing businesses, including a corporate giftware distributor and wholesaler. He has considerable expertise across the spectrum from buying and marketing to logistics and finance. He is now utilising this knowledge, founded in the rigorous practices of online retailing, to help businesses develop e-commerce, lead-generating and non-transactional sites, and fit the pieces of their online retail jigsaw seamlessly together.

James is equally diverse and energetic in his leisure time and enjoys sailing, skiing and mountain biking. Naturally, he's delighted to see his children have followed in his footsteps, but rather reluctantly, he admits they're gaining the edge!
